Columbus Air Show Presented by ScottsMiracle-Gro Announces Return Of U.S. Navy Blue Angels to Columbus in 2027

COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Air Show Presented by ScottsMiracle-Gro announced today that the 2027 air show will take place July 9-11 at Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK) and will be headlined by the United States Navy Blue Angels.  This will be the Blue Angels’ third performance in Ohio in five years — a remarkable testament to the confidence they place in the Columbus show.

“Fresh off the heels of an incredibly successful 2026 show attended by more than 47,000 fans, the Blues selecting Columbus again is amazing news,” said Herb Gillen, president of Herb Gillen Airshows, producers of the event. “Every year, air shows across the nation compete aggressively for the Blue Angels, and for them to pick Columbus again speaks to central Ohio’s energy and passion for world class entertainment and unmatched excitement.”

The show also announced that beginning Tuesday, August 4, tickets for the 2027 Columbus Air Show will go on sale to the general public at 8:00 AM on the show’s website, www.ColumbusAirShow.com/tickets. Beginning at 8:00am on Saturday, August 1, Air Show Insights members will have exclusive early access to 2027 tickets in advance of the general public.  Air Show Insights is free to join at ColumbusAirShow.com, and in addition to early ticket access, members will be kept apprised of performer lineup updates and air show announcements.

A variety of different seating packages is available, from general admission to premium club and box seats. As always, children 15 and under are admitted into the general admission of the air show for free.
