Teays Valley Athletics Opening New Field House

Residents of the Teays Valley School District are being invited to attend a ribbon cutting and open house for the new Teays Valley Fieldhouse.

The ceremony will be held Friday, November 5th, with the ribbon cutting at 4:30pm, followed by an open house until 6pm.

Visitors will get the first look at the new fieldhouse, which will be open to not only indoor football practice use, but all other sports needing to get out of inclement weather for workouts.

The Teays Valley Board of Education says that funding has come from various sources, including school funds and private donations. No tax levy was needed to build the project.

Similar indoor facilities are already in use at Circleville City Schools and at Piketon High School.
