Adams Steps Down As Southeastern Boys Basketball Coach

Article Presented By Scioto Valley Dumpsters, LTD…

The SVC’s Southeastern High School is in the process of seeking a new boys varsity basketball coach, after Mike Adams announced he is stepping down from that position. Adams confirmed to Litter Media’s Mike Smith that he told the school of his decision to resign on May 16th.

Mike Adams conveyed appreciation to his alma mater, where he graduated in 1990, along for his former players. “(I) love and appreciate all Southeastern athletes (that) I had the opportunity to coach the last seventeen years. I wish next year’s SE athletes nothing but the best.”

Prior to becoming the Panthers boys basketball coach, Adams led the Lady Panthers program to three consecutive SVC championships between 2016-2018, being named “SVC Coach of the Year” each of those seasons.

As an athlete at Southeastern, Mike Adams was All Ohio in both basketball and football.
