Adena Girls & Unioto Boys Win Ross County Track Championships

Adena Girls and Unioto Boys won team championships at the Ross County Track & Field Meet Tuesday at Adena High School.

The girls title came down to the last race of the night- the 4×400 relay. Adena went into the final event with a four point lead over Unioto. The Lady Shermans won the final relay, but Adena was second- giving the Lady Warriors the team championship by two points, 165-163. Zane Trace finished in third place at 99 points, then Huntington (63), Paint Valley (26), and Huntington (11.)

The boys championship went to the Shermans, racking up 126 points. Zane Trace was runner-up with 122 points, followed by Huntington (100), Adena (95), Paint Valley (50), and Southeastern (24).
