All SOC Tennis Tourney Bodes Well For Waverly and Minford

The Southern Ohio Conference Tennis Tournament, featuring Waverly, Portsmouth West, Wheelersburg and Minford was held over two days. Waverly, who won the SOC regular season championship for a 6th straight season, had Caden Nibert as the top singles seed entering the conference tourney. 

In the singles final Nibert defeated Charlie Neal 6-3/6-3, enabling him to win the 2023 “SOC Player of the Year”. Waverly has claimed the Player of the Year honor 6 of the last 7 years.
