MEDICARE ADVANTAGE OPEN ENROLLMENT
The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period takes place annually from
January 1st until March 31st. During this time, individuals who are already
enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan or who are newly eligible for Medicare can
switch to a different Medicare Advantage plan, drop their Medicare Advantage
plan and return to original Medicare, or enroll in a Medicare prescription drug
plan. Changes made during the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period take
place on the first of the month following enrollment. If you have questions about

HEAP
The Home Energy Assistance Program – or HEAP – is open for applications for
2025-2026. HEAP can help eligible Ohioans manage their heating bills. You can
find applications at your local Community Action Agency. If interested or if you

ONLINE CAREGIVER PORTAL
Trualta is an online portal designed just for family caregivers. It provides
caregiver information, videos, tip sheets, music therapy, webinars, support
groups, and much more – all available 24/7 online. Sign-up today for this free and
beneficial resource for family caregivers by logging on to aaa7.trualta.com. If you
