Area Residents Appointed To State Boards

(Columbus) – Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has included several area residents to a long list of appointments for state and regional boards.

Mathew Snider of Chillicothe has been appointed to the Ohio Nuclear Development Authority for a term beginning October 2, 2025, and ending October 1, 2030. 

Tedd Frazier of Jackson has been reappointed to the Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission for a term beginning September 26, 2025, and ending September 3, 2028. 

Vernon P. Stanforth of Washington Court House has been reappointed to the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission for a term beginning September 26, 2025, and ending September 19, 2028. 

Brenda S. Shamblin of Stoutsville (Fairfield Co.) has been reappointed to the Public Benefits Advisory Board for a term beginning September 26, 2025, and ending June 30, 2028.

Andrew D. Powers of Athens (Athens Co.) has been appointed to the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission for a term beginning September 26, 2025, and ending September 19, 2027.

Erin C. Lucas of Athens (Athens Co.) has been appointed to the Children and Youth Advisory Council for a term beginning September 30, 2025, and continuing at the pleasure of the Governor.
