Mustangs Place 2nd in Westfall Butcher Green Memorial
Westfall finished as runners up in the Westfall Butcher Green Memorial Wrestling Tournament Saturday in Pherson. The Mustangs were 45 points behind Champ Celina 250-205. West Jefferson finished third ahead of Huntington, Jackson, Circleville, Washington, Amanda Clearcreek, Adena and Unioto rounding out the top 10 teams.
Local individuals winning their weight division: 106 – Kevin Downing (Circleville) over Mason Heidler (Washington); 113 – Brandon Chapman (Unioto) over Conner Brokaw (Circleville); 120 – Bradley Forsythe (Washington); 126 – Brady Speakman (Westfall) over Braiden McGinnis (Jackson); 132 – Vincent Gerlach (Westfall) over Jimmy Seton (Huntington); 138 – Bryson Campbell (Westfall); 144 – Runner up Michael Gibson (Unioto); 150 – Jon Perez (Circleville); 157 – Runner up Justen Riddle (Jackson)165 – Malachi McCullough (Washington); 175 – Runner up David Warner (Adena); 190 – Carson McNeal (Huntington) over Eli Wright (Westfall); 215 – Jackson M cNeal (Huntington).

Cavaliers 8th at Mount Vernon Meet
Chillicothe placed 8th in the field of 14 teams in the 5th Annual John Brown Memorial at Mount Vernon High School Saturday. Canaan Smith won the 138 championship. Colby Campbell (126) and Isaiah Bowling (215) were runners up.
McClain Finishes 4th at Williamsburg
McClain tied for 4th with Clermont Northeast in the Williamsburg Bob Guy Invitational at Williamsburg High School.
McClain’s Isaac Morgan took the 138 Division title and the Tigers’ Hunter Skaggs won the 190 division. Runners up included Jacob Mick (138)
