Circleville, Ohio — ArtsaRound is proud to present the 4th Annual Best of Pickaway County High Schools Art Show, a month-long exhibition celebrating the creativity and talent of student artists from across Pickaway County. The exhibit will be on display throughout April at the ArtsaRound Gallery, 135 W Main St, Circleville.
The exhibition highlights artwork from students representing Teays Valley, New Hope, Westfall, Circleville, and Logan Elm High Schools. ArtsaRound works directly with the high school art teachers at each school to showcase student work and provide an opportunity for young artists to display their creativity in a public gallery setting.
Each student may submit up to two works of art, and the exhibition has continued to grow each year. Artwork is organized into categories and reviewed by a panel of judges. In addition to the judged awards, visitors to the gallery are invited to participate by voting for their favorite school during the exhibition. The school receiving the most votes will take home the traveling trophy for the year.
“This show is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the creativity of students from across Pickaway County and give them a chance to display their work in a community gallery,” said Steve Sawyer, President of ArtsaRound, who is coordinating the event. “We are grateful for the partnership with the art teachers at each of the participating schools who help make this exhibition possible.”
The community is encouraged to visit the gallery throughout April to experience the artwork and support the next generation of artists in Pickaway County.
