Area high school baseball league championships came into view Friday, one week after the Frontier Athletic Conference was already decided with Washington’s Blue Lions completing an unbeaten FAC season at (10-0).

The (13-1) Unioto Shermans wrapped up the outright SVC championship with a convincing 13-1 win at Adena. The Tanks have won three straight SVC crowns and 24 in school history.

Wheelersburg added another SOC baseball championship to their wall of banners, edging Minford 5-4 on Friday.

Bloom Carroll has been a run-away race horse in the MSL-Buckeye this season. The Bulldogs clinched the MSL championship Thursday, running it’s overall record to (20-2) on season vs one of toughest D2 schedules in state.

Sunday, May 7th will be the date high school baseball teams will learn their post-season course, with tournament brackets due out from their respective districts.

Litter Media will track the bracket pairings when they are released Sunday afternoon.
