(SE Ohio) – A day of business networking and learning will be available at the 2023 Appalachian We Mean Business Conference. This annual conference, presented by Ohio Minority Business Assistance Centers and the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky African American Chamber of Commerce, will offer business-focused workshops, networking opportunities, and economic development updates.
The June 27th conference will run from 9am-3pm at the University of Rio Grande, Davis University Center, Heritage Room.
This event is open to all sectors of business as well as aspiring entrepreneurs and workforce development partners. Bryn Stepp of the Lt. Governor’s Office will speak on Ohio’s Workforce Initiatives, Grant Programs, and the Broadband expansions in Ohio’s Appalachian region. Workshop presenters include: OSU Manufacturing Extension Partnership, The GRIT Project, Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation, APEX Accelerator, Market Ready Entrepreneurship Program, Ready, Set, Grow, & Area Agency on Aging; the day will conclude with a Access to Capital panel featuring local business lending experts.
