Walking the Ohio & Erie Canal Path in Chillicothe

Walking tours are being offered of areas where the Ohio & Erie Canal streamed through Chillicothe. The tours are April 24th from 1pm-5pm. Tickets are $10 per person age 10 and over, with an additional $5 if you want to purchase a book about the canal.

The self-paced walking tour is approximately one mile in length and has nine manned interpretative stops along the way.

Connie Meyer and Tom Troester were Mike Smith’s guests on Litter Media LIVE- Special Edition, where they talked about the history of the Canal in Chillicothe, which officially opened to Chillicothe from Cleveland in 1831.
