Cavalier Boys-Pioneer Girls Take Wendy Arth Swim Meet

The annual Wendy Arth Memorial Swim Meet was held at the Ross County YMCA Wednesday night.

The Chillicothe Boys were dominant in outdistancing second place Zane Trace 54-19 with Unioto finishing third with 14 points.

The Girls Meet had a closer battle for the win with Zane Trace edging Chillicothe 40-36. Unioto tallied 17.

Top performers included Chillicothe’s Ryan Blum and Aidan Montgomery for the Boys and Zane Trace’s Gabriella Tisi taking the Girls Meet. All three scoring 8 points each.

Blum won the Boys 50 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke while Montgomery took the 200 intermediate and 100 free. Both were on the winning 200 Medley Relay.

Tisi won the Girls 100 Butterfly, 100 Backstroke and was on the winning 200 Freestyle Relay team and the second place 200 Medley Relay team.
