Central Center Car Show Raises $4,000 For Ross Humane Society

Presented By Hometown-Motors, Inc.

(Chillicothe) – After a 7 year hiatus, the 9th Annual Central Center car show made a triumphant return to Chillicothe on April 23, 2022. The Car Show was sponsored by several local businesses including: Perry Electric, Petland, Double D’s Auction House, Mark’s Automotive, Central Center Hardware, Hice Pest Control, Ross County Bank, BBB Music Center, Elite Staffing, Comb’s Heating and Cooling, N8 Lunde Chiropractic, Giovanni’s Pizza, Scattered things, and Central Center.

160 cars from Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia enjoyed the beautiful weather and showed off their vehicles all to benefit the Ross County Humane Society. Trophies provided by Industrial Metal Works were given in multiple categories for Best in Show, Steve’s Pick, and the Ross County Humane Society’s pick. $4,000 was raised for the Ross County Humane Society capital campaign for the construction of a new shelter through the event. In addition, a 50/50 raffle totaled $478, also providing $234 to both the Ross County Humane Society, in addition to the lucky winner. The Chillicothe Cash Door prize of $230 was sponsored by Ed’s Tires, Double D’s Auction House, Luna and Co., and Butt Realty Incorporated.

Central Center would like to thank everyone who attended and we look forward to renewed interest in the Car Show with hopes for an even larger turn out next year for the 10th Annual Show.
