
Chillicothe Brick Street Repair To Begin October 13th

(Chillicothe) – City of Chillicothe Safety Service Director, Jeff Carman announces street work related to the Appalachian Community Grant Program (ACGP) will begin on Monday, October 13, 2025, along Mulberry Street from Water to Riverside, including the intersection of Mulberry, Riverside, and Race.
These closures will be in place for at least two months for full-depth repairs and brick paver replacement. To maintain access during construction, Race Street will be temporarily converted to two-way traffic.
Residents affected will be able to reach their properties via alleyways or back entrances. Motorists wishing to enter Yoctangee Park should use either the Paint Street or Mill Street entrances. Motorists should exercise caution while crews are at work in these areas.
