Chillicothe Floodgate Maintenance To Take Place November 6th

(Chillicothe) – Mayor Luke Feeney and the City of Chillicothe Engineering Department have announced that two of the city’s floodgates will have annual maintenance on November 6th, 2024, with some lane closures to traffic.

Floodgate maintenance for High Street will take place between 9am and 3pm. High Street will be open to traffic, but the lanes will be shifted during maintenance.

Floodgate maintenance will also occur that same day for Main Street between 11am and 3pm. East Main Street at the floodgate will be open to traffic, but the lanes will be shifted during maintenance.  Motorists are advised to use an alternate route on that day, or drive slowly, use caution, and watch for construction vehicles and workers.
