Chillicothe H.S. Class Of 1971 Celebrates 50th Anniversary

(Chillicothe) — The Chillicothe High School Class of 1971 is celebrating their 50th anniversary since graduating.
The celebration gets underway Thursday, October 14th with former classmate, broadcaster and author, Dave Burchett signing some of the books he wrote. The signing will be at Wheatberry Books on West Second Street, beginning at 6pm.
Their banquet will be hosted by the Chillicothe Country Club from 6pm-11pm on Saturday, October 16th.
Three tours will be conducted on Friday, October 15th and Saturday, October 16th. A tour of the Carlisle Building gets underway at 2pm on Saturday and includes a walking tour of downtown Chillicothe at 12:30pm, starting at the Phoenix Fire Museum. The third tour will be at the fire museum from 11am-1pm.
A 2:30pm open house will be held at Chillicothe High School that Saturday.
The reunion concludes with a church service at 10am Sunday, October 17th at Lion’s Shelter Park in Yoctangee Park. The Reverend Tom Smith will be the speaker.
