Chillicothe Honored By Site Selection Magazine for 2022 Business Performances

(Columbus) – On Friday, June 23, Chillicothe was honored by Gov. DeWine, Lt. Gov. Husted, Ohio Department of Development and Rep. Mark Johnson for the communities place on Site Selection Magazine’s Top Micropolitan list for 2022. 

Chillicothe community leaders joined the celebration at The Willis James.

2022 was a record-setting year for GCRCD with 22 total projects, according to Economic Development Director Tammy Eallonardo. The four qualifying projects that earned GCRCD this designation were:
Kenworth Truck -Test Building: $44M Capital Investment
Pixelle – #24 Machine Restart: $21M Capital Investment
Chillicothe Steel – New Building: $2.2M Capital Investment
Howmet – Building Renovation – $1.5M Capital Investment

Eallonardo says this is a big honor for the Chillicothe/Ross County community.
