Chillicothe To Host Public Hearing On Green-Chillicothe Joint Economic Development District

(Chillicothe) – On August 25, 2025, at 6pm, the City of Chillicothe City Council will hold a public hearing to consider approving a contract to form and govern the Green-Chillicothe Joint Economic Development District. The public hearing will be held in City of Chillicothe Council Chambers, 26 South Paint Street.

The public hearing shall allow for public comments and recommendations on the contract. The following documents are on file for public inspection: (1) a copy of the contract, including the economic development plan; (2) a description of the area to be included in the district, including a map in sufficient detail to denote the specific boundaries of the area; and (3) an income tax schedule.

These documents may be reviewed in the office of the Mayor in the offices of the City of Chillicothe, 35 South Paint Street, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
