Chillicothe Trash & Recycling Rate Increase Announced

(Chillicothe) – The City of Chillicothe has announced an upcoming change that will impact your service expenses. City Ordinances 32-24 and 33-24 passed by Chillicothe City Council on June 10, 2024, require annual adjustments. There will be an increase in city trash rates to $17 per month and in recycling rates to $4 per month effective August 2024.

Rate adjustments are being made to accommodate for rising collections fees, equipment costs, and to ensure continued essential and supplemental services are being provided to residents.

Customers are encouraged to visit ChillicotheOH.gov to view additional information, sign up for electronic bills, and to set up automatic payments. The adjustment will be reflected in your billing cycle beginning August 2024.
