
Circleville History Walk to Celebrate Downtown’s Past & Support Local Preservation

(Circleville) – The Pickaway County Visitors Bureau invites residents and visitors to step into the stories behind Circleville’s crossroads during the Circleville History Walk, Saturday, May 24, 8:30am–11am. Proceeds benefit the Pickaway County Historical Society and the Explore Pickaway Foundation, ensuring our community’s history is preserved and shared for generations to come.
“This walk is a chance to see familiar streets with fresh eyes,” said Jane Shaw, volunteer and past president of the Pickaway County Historical Society, who will co-lead the tour. “From our iconic four corners to hidden architectural gems, every block has a tale to tell. I’m thrilled to guide guests through the places—and the people—that shaped Circleville.”
Event Highlights
- Guided stroll of the historic Court & Main Street intersection and surrounding landmarks
- Coffee from Scioto Valley Coffee and a signature pumpkin doughnut from Lindsey’s Bakery
- Special peek inside selected historic buildings
- Optional self-guided stop at the Clarke-May Museum
- Ticket holders receive an insulated tote, water bottle, and other surprises
