City of Waverly Water Emergency LIFTED

(UPDATED 9am 1/28/25) – The Do Not Use Order for Waverly is LIFTED. A boil advisory is in effect for the entire Village until further notice. Please boil water for drinking and cooking vigorously for at least one minute before using.

On Monday morning, Waverly City Council had declared a State of Emergency and all of Waverly and it’s water customers were under a DO NOT USE ORDER for any purposes until further notice. Critical users, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and dialysis centers, were excluded from this order.

Waverly City Schools dismissed at 11am Monday, due to the emergency.
