Comments Sought On Dry Run Rd Bridge Replacement

(ODOT) – As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation—District 9’s Planning Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input for a bridge replacement project on C.R. 223 in Ross County.
ROS-CR-223-2.13 (PID 117613) It is proposed to rehabilitate the structure on CR 223 (Dry Run Rd.) at the 2.13 mile mark in Ross County, Ohio. The project is located in a rural area of Springfield Township between Lick Run and Graves Road.
The project will not require new right-of-way. The roadway will be closed for the duration of the project. The detour route will be determined at a later date. No homes or businesses will be removed by the project.
The funding for the project is 80% Federal and 20% Local. The environmental commitment date is 7/1/2023. The project is currently expected to be awarded 8/2/2023
