(Columbus) – Ground has been broken on a new $2 billion terminal at John Glenn International Airport in Columbus. The new terminal is projected to be one million square feet and will be able to handle 51% more passengers each day.
This will mean 36 gates, which is seven more than currently exists, and with room to grow in the future. The number of runways will remain the same.
A new terminal will also mean new routes, including international ones. The project is expected to be completed by 2029.
