DORA Now Active In Downtown Waverly

Article Presented By Litter Quality Propane…

(Waverly) – The Pike County Village of Waverly has become the latest southern Ohio community to add a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA). Other communities already utilizing the DORA are Chillicothe, Circleville, and Washington CH, among others.

The DORA for Downtown Waverly officially went into effect May 1st, 2025 and will continue every Thursday and Friday, 6pm to Midnight and Saturday from noon to midnight.

An application for Waverly’s DORA was approved by Village Council on February 19, 2025. The application was then submitted to the State of Ohio Department of Commerce and approved on March 10, 2025.

Please visit cityofwaverly.net for rules, frequently asked questions and the DORA Map.

DORA refreshments are available at the following participating liquor permit holding establishments: Waverly Eagles #2227, Brass Monkey Bar & Restaurant, Sonora’s Mexican Grill and Beast and Bottle.
