(Jackson) – The Elks District Hoop Shoot contest was held in Jackson Sunday, with qualifiers headed to the state contest in Newark on February 22nd.

Elks Lodge #52 contestants to place, are listed below by age group:
Maddie Thompson -1st 8-9 yo group 19/25

Ainsley Weaver – 1st 10-11 yo group 18/25 *Defending National Champ*

Kiya Weaver – 1st 12-13 yo group 19/25

*All three girls listed above attend Paint Valley School*

Marshall Friend – 2nd 8-9 boys. Shoot off for 2nd, twice. 15/25 then 5/10 of Paint Valley

Joshua Strong – 10-11 yo group 3rd 14/25 of Chillicothe

River Ruckel – 1st 12-13 yo group 20/25 of Southeastern
