Article Presented By Accurate Heating, Cooling & Plumbing…

The Fairland Dragons came out swinging both defensively and offensively on Tuesday night at VA Memorial Stadium against the Huntington Huntsmen.

In the top of the first inning, the Dragons made their presence known after Ethan Wall hit an RBI that allowed Brycen Hunt to take home plate. In the field, they got three quick flyouts to take the game into the second inning, where Fairland scored three more runs to make the game 4-0.

The third inning saw the Dragons extend their lead to 5-0, and it took until the bottom of the fourth for Brayden Elliot of Huntington to see home plate and make the game 5-1.

After the sixth inning, Huntington had chipped away to make the game 5-3. They added to their score once more in the final inning, but a double play by the Dragons brought the game to a dramatic close with a final score of 5-4.
