Family Night At The Park Coming To Mound City Group Visitor Center

Join the Friends of Hopewell Culture NHP at the Mound City Group Visitor Center September 19th for activities and fun commemorating the one-year anniversary as a World Heritage Site.

3:00 PM:  Ranger-led tour of Mound City Group.  Join a ranger for a guided tour of the Mound City Group earthwork.
 
4:00 PM: Junior Ranger activities inside the park’s visitor center.  Visit with your family and join in for an open house style event of hands-on activities. Learn what’s new at your national park!

6:00 PM:  In the park’s auditorium Eastern National and the Friends of Hopewell Culture NHP will host a special showing of the extended version of the park’s interpretive film Mysteries of the Ancient Architects followed by a Q&A with park staff.

All events are free and there is no registration.  Activities will end at 8pm.
