Fayette County Board of Health Announces Permanent Meeting Date Change

Fayette County Public Health is announcing a permanent change to the regular monthly meeting schedule of the Fayette County Board of Health.

Beginning in September, Board of Health meetings will now take place on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30am. The start time remains the same; only the meeting day has changed.

The next Board of Health meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 7:30am.

Fayette County Public Health works to prevent disease, promote health, and protect the well-being of all who live, work, and visit our community. Community members are welcome to attend Board of Health meetings. Anyone wishing to speak before the board is asked to email Health Commissioner Leigh Olaker, MPH, to be placed on the agenda. Visit faycohd.org for contact information.

“The Board of Health plays an important role in protecting and promoting public health in Fayette County,” said Olaker. “We encourage community members to stay engaged and attend meetings.”
