Fayette County to Host 2025 Community Mental Health Planning Meeting

(Washington CH) – Fayette County Public Health will host the 2025 Community Mental Health Planning Meeting on Thursday, May 15, from 12pm-2pm at Fayette County Public Health, 317 South Fayette Street in Washington Court House. This event invites community members, mental health advocates, and local organizations to reflect on past initiatives and help shape the future of mental health support in Fayette County.

Organized by the Community of Hope: Fayette County Suicide Prevention Coalition, the meeting will focus on reviewing progress made in 2024 and developing mental health goals for the 2025–2027 planning period. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute their insights and ideas, helping to guide priorities and future projects.

“Join us in building a stronger, more supportive community,” said Kelly Shiltz, FCSPC chairperson.

Agenda Highlights:

  • Annual Report: A recap of the accomplishments by the Community of Hope: Fayette County Suicide Prevention Coalition in 2024.
  • Planning Session: Collaborative discussion to establish mental health goals and priorities for the upcoming years.
  • Resource Sharing: Information on local mental health services, and a chance to voice what resources are most needed in the community.

Lunch will be provided for participants who register by May 8th. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.
