Feast of the Flowering Moon Open in Chillicothe’s Yoctangee Park

The Annual Feast of the Flowering Moon takes over Chillicothe’s Yoctangee Park this weekend.

The Festival officially opens at 11am, although rain is in the forecast for most of the day and evening Friday, but turns sunny for Saturday and Sunday.

Ducky Derby is scheduled for 1pm Sunday in Yoctangee Park Lake. Also Sunday is a Vietnam Veterans Remembrance at 2pm at the Veterans Monument Park- sponsored by the D.A.R,, which will be followed by a Veterans Parade at 4pm.

The Festival began in the 1980’s to celebrate the Native American Culture in our region.
