Fluor-BWXT Accepting Applications for 2025 Scholarship Program

(Piketon) – Fluor-BWXT (FBP) is currently accepting applications for the 2025 FBP STEAM and Trade scholarship programs.

In addition to the ten $2,000 scholarships awarded to local students studying STEAM-related careers at a four-year university, FBP will also be awarding four $1,000 scholarships to students enrolling in a certification program or training for a trade career.

Students applying for the STEAM scholarship must be majoring in a field related to science, technology, engineering, arts, or math. Qualifying art majors are limited to majors that would lead to careers on site such as journalism, business, graphic design, and others. Students must also have a minimum grade point of average of 3.0 and have been accepted to an accredited university.

Qualifications for the inaugural trade scholarship include a minimum grade point average of 2.8 and have been accepted into a two-year college or vocational program or pursing a trade degree or certificate. The scholarship programs are open to all graduating seniors in Pike, Scioto, Ross, and Jackson counties. The deadline to apply is Feb. 21, 2025.

Since 2011, FBP has awarded more than $312,000 in scholarships to local students.
