Former Tecumseh Cast Member Steve Stevenson Passes Away

(Circleville) – A local businessman who also served as a cast member in the outdoor drama “Tecumseh!” for almost 30 years, has passed away. Howard “Steve” Stevenson died Friday (6/28/24). He was 87.

Stevenson was an equity actor in “Tecumseh,” and held the role of James Galloway in the outdoor drama for 28 years.

The Circleville area insurance agent was also the Circleville Noon Rotary President in 1979-80 and was one of four district governors from their club. He was district governor in 1985-86.

He’s survived by wife, Sandy. 

A memorial service will be conducted at Saint Phillips Episcopal Church in Circleville at 1pm July 6th. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the church at PO Box 484 Circleville, Ohio 43113 or Ohio Health Parkway Columbus, Ohio 43202.
