Henness Scores 26 to Propel Warriors to Victory Over Westfall

The (3-2/8-4) Adena Warriors came out swinging Saturday night in their 79-52 victory over the (4-1/8-4) Westfall Mustangs. It was Adena’s 7th straight win.
Westfall won the tipoff, but for the rest of the evening the game was all Adena. Easton Henness started adding up points early, with two 3-pointers in the game’s opening minutes to put the warriors ahead 6-0. Joedy Ater kept the momentum going with a slam dunk to bring the game to 8-0. Lucas King and Bryson Smith continued building a lead to bring the game to 15-0 before Brody Clark of Westfall scored their first points.
By the end of the first quarter, the game was 19-7 in favor of the Warriors.
Adena started the second quarter strong with Henness scoring four baskets for 9 points. The Warriors continued gaining ground on the Mustangs having a 45-17 lead going into halftime.
The third quarter was a back and forth struggle, but Adena still led 64-34 by the end of it, and found victory with a final score of 79-52.
Easton Henness led scoring for the Warriors with 26 points, and Brody Clark led the Mustangs with 20.
Adena rises to (4-2/9-4), while Westfall falls to (4-2/8-5).
