Lady Cavaliers win FAC soccer title in game against Jackson

After the first eleven minutes of back and forth play, the first score came from Jackson kicking the ball into their own goal off of a corner kick from CHS. The rest of the first half saw possession of the ball evenly split, but it rarely crossed the field onto the Lady Cavaliers’ side.

After halftime with 31 minutes left in the game, a penalty kick by Sydney Carpenter for Jackson tied up the game. With another goal one minute later, Jackson went up 2-1 with a goal by Braelynn Brennan.

With 21:17 left, Alex Erslan of Chillicothe scored to tie up the game yet again.

With one minute left in the game, Kiera Archer made a game-winning goal to wrap up the FAC title for the Lady Cavaliers.
