Lady Shermans Fall in D-III State Semifinal

The Unioto Lady Shermans fell to St. Vincent-St. Mary on Thursday afternoon at the Nutter Center in the OHSAA D-III State Semifinal.
The Irish got out to a strong start, outscoring Unioto 21-9 in the first quarter. A handful of points from Milee Smith and Keyairah Beard helped the Tanks get back in the game during the next period, trailing only 41-25 going into halftime.
The rest of the contest was all Irish, with a final score of 84-38. St. Vincent-St. Mary will move onto the D-III State Championship on Friday against Chaminade Julienne.
