
Lancaster Officials Issue Mt. Pleasant Safety Alert

(Lancaster) – As the weather warms up, many will be heading to Mount Pleasant in Lancaster to enjoy the view. Lancaster City Recreation Department is reminding all visitors to stay on marked trails and respect posted barriers.
Going beyond these barriers is a violation of park rules and is a misdemeanor of the 4th degree, carrying penalties of up to 30 days in jail and a $250 fine.
“While we all appreciate the beauty of Mt. Pleasant, it’s essential to explore safely and responsibly. Ignoring these warnings can lead to serious injury or even death.”
