Lyceum Series Features The Hocking River: Our Aquatic Resource

Article Presented By Hometown-Motors, Inc.

(Athens) – The Lyceum Luncheon Brown Bag Speaker Series presents a program on The Hocking River: Our Shared Aquatic Resource by Dan Imhoff on Thursday, August 21st at noon at the Southeast Ohio History Center.

Imhoff is a retired environmental specialist in surface water from Ohio EPA and long time member of the Hocking River Commission. After retirement, Imhoff put his kayak in the Hocking River and went with the flow to New Orleans. Imhoff has spent many years working and playing in the Hocking Valley watershed.

The History Center’s Lyceum Speaker Series is a brown bag luncheon scheduled for the third Thursdays of the month at 24 West State Street in Athens.

Due to ongoing construction projects at the History Center, parking is very limited, and visitors should come early to find such accommodations for their vehicle which may be a block or more from the History Center.

For more information about this presentation or about the History Center call (740) 593-2280 or visit www.southeastohiohistory.org.
