M.A.D.E. Rally Expecting Thousands Of Students At V.A. Memorial Stadium

Presented By McDonald’s, I’m Lovin’ It!

The M.A.D.E./Drug Free Clubs of America Rally returns after a year off from the pandemic, where almost 2,000 high school students from several counties will be in attendance. The Friday, October 29th event will be at V.A. Memorial Stadium between 9am-noon.

Students from Ross, Pickaway, Highland and Fayette County will be among those in attendance.

Litter Media’s Dan Ramey spoke with American Idol finalist Philip Murphy and rally organizer Chris Scott about this year’s event. (CLICK THE VIDEO ARROW BELOW TO WATCH THE INTERVIEW)

Murphy will be performing as well as telling his story about his days of living as a homeless person and the people he saw that struggled with addiction.

Chris Scott says this will be a “stadium show” that allows them to expand the area where students will gather. Scott thanked Brian Wickline, the Chillicothe Paints and Stacia Ruby of the V.A. Medical Center for helping put this year’s event together.
