Maria Siers Crowned 2024 Miss Ashville 4th of July

Maria Siers is the 2024 Miss Ashville 4th of July with her 1st Attendant, Aubrey Helser and 2nd Attendant Rebecca Light.

Siers is the 16 year old daughter of Katie and Nick Siers. She’s been a Teays Valley Cheerleader for three years participating on the sideline, competition and Game Day competition squads. Siers is also a seven year member of Walnut Wonder Workers 4-H Club and a member of the Teays Valley Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Maria will attend Fairfield Career Center to pursue her pre-nursing pathway and will graduate with her STNA license. Following high School, shoe plans to attend college and ultimately obtain her RN license to fulfill her dream of becoming a trauma nurse.

Helser is the 16 year old daughter of Terra and Adam Helser. She’s a member of both the Teays Valley High School Volleyball and Club Vaolleyball teams and has helped coach for the TV Youth League. Aubrey plans to become a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and get inducted into the National Honor Society. After graduation she plans to attend nursing school and become a Pediatric Nurse.

Light is the 16 year old daughter of Heidi & Robert Light. Rebecca is involved in the Battle of Books reading group and her church youth group. She hopes to attend Ball State University to study dance and become a performer.

Litter Media’s Dan Ramey spoke with the girls following the pageant and also with the 2023 Queen and Court while judges were interviewing the 2024 candidates. (See the interviews below)

The three will join the outgoing Queen, Katie Reynard and her court, Kadie Meddock and Jenna Pence in the Grand Parade on Thursday at 11am.
