Article Presented By Hometown-Motors, Inc…

The Miami Trace Lady Panthers are the 2023 Frontier League Athletic Conference Girls Golf Champions, winning the league’s 18-hole title match Monday at Buckeye Hills Country Club near Greenfield.

Miami Trace took first place with a team score of 421, followed by McClain at 430, Washington 442, and Hillsboro 465. Both Chillicothe and Jackson did not have enough golfers to have a team score, but Jackson’s Aubrey Arnold won match medalist honors with a 75 and was also the FAC “Player of the Year.”

The final FAC standings have Miami Trace at (35-5), McClain (31-9), Hillsboro (21-19), Washington (16-24), Jackson (12-28) and Chillicothe (0-40).

Jackson’s Aubrey Arnold led the All FAC team as the Player of the Year. The other All FAC selections are Faith Wynne of Washington CH, Emily Reeves of Miami Trace, Morgan Webb of Chillicothe, Emma Yochum of Hillsboro, Kaylin Sterling of McClain and Chillicothe’s Addison Smith.
