Mid State League Names Pat Durbin New Commissioner

(Circleville) – The Mid-State League has announced the appointment of Pat Durbin as the new league commissioner, effective July 1, 2023. Pat will be succeeding Jim Hayes, who has served as the commissioner for the league for many years. Pat, currently the Athletic Director at Canal Winchester, will be retiring from CW at the end of December to take on this new responsibility.
With a remarkable track record in sports administration and a deep understanding of the Mid-State League, Pat Durbin is well-prepared to lead the league into an exciting new era. Having spent significant time working closely with member schools, coaches, and student-athletes, Pat brings a wealth of experience and a passion for fostering excellence in interscholastic athletics.
Throughout his tenure as Athletic Director at Canal Winchester, Pat has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, effective communication skills, and a commitment to the development and success of student-athletes both on and off the field. His dedication to fair play, integrity, and sportsmanship has earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers.
