More Than Century Old Circleville City Hall Bell Being Restored

(Circleville) – The bell that was cast in 1883, and once graced Circleville City Hall, is undergoing restoration.
The bell was recently removed from its temporary home of the last twenty years to get fitted for its new carriage to ready it for reinstallation in the Cupola/Belvedere at Circleville City Hall.
The bell weighs 1,000 pounds and required some maneuvering to get it out of the Administration Offices.
