Multi-County Career Fair Slated For September 20th

The OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) Pike County, Workforce & Business Development Program (W&B) of Community Action Committee of Pike County (CAC) is excited to announce its upcoming Career Fair event, scheduled to take place at the Pike County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023, from 5 to 7pm. This event aims to bridge the gap between job seekers and local businesses offering a unique opportunity for individuals to explore a wide variety of industries and career fields.

The event is open to residents of Pike, Ross, Jackson and Scioto counties.

The Career Fair, hosted by OhioMeansJobs Pike County, promises to be a dynamic event with over 50 local businesses in attendance. With such a diverse range of industries participating, attendees will have the chance to engage with representatives from various sectors, including healthcare, manufacturing, technology, retail, hospitality, finance, and more. The event will cater to individuals with varying skill sets and professional backgrounds ensuring a wealth of opportunities for all attendees.

“We are thrilled to be hosting the Career Fair again,” said Erica Jones, OMJ Supervisor. “Our past two events have brought job seekers and employers together successfully not only in Pike County, but also in our neighboring counties, as well. This event is designed to connect talented job seekers in our area with the local businesses that are actively seeking skilled and motivated employees. Whether you are a recent graduate, someone looking to make a career change, or simply exploring new possibilities, this event is your chance to meet face-to-face with employers and learn about exciting opportunities.”

Job seekers attending the Career Fair can expect a productive and engaging experience. In addition to networking with local businesses, participants will have the opportunity to learn about current job openings, company cultures, and growth potential.
