Music of the 1940’s To Be Featured at Ted Lewis Museum

(Circleville) – ALL ABOARD! Join The Ted Lewis Museum on a Sentimental Journey Through the 1940s. The museum is open 10am-4pm, each Saturday.
Joseph Rubin and his 16-piece Orchestra, featuring vocalist Heidi Swinford, will perform songs that were hits from the Fabulous 1940’s:
Stompin’ At The Savoy, When You’re Smiling, Stardust, Opus No. 1, Sentimental Journey, Begin the Beguine and much more. Plus a musical tribute to Circleville’s Favorite Son, Ted Lewis.
For the first time in six decades, this concert features the swinging arrangements of famed Portsmouth, Ohio native band leader and trumpeter Clyde McCoy and his “Sugar Blues” Orchestra.
Don’t miss this musical excursion through the decade when swing was king.
