As official stops on a national tour, the award-winning feature film The American Constitution is coming to Chillicothe and Circleville for exclusive premieres and community discussion. The event will take place on Saturday September 20th at Ohio University-Chillicothe’s Auditorium at 7pm, then on Sunday September 21st at 4pm at the Ohio Christian University Ministry and Performing Arts Center 1476 Lancaster Pike, Circleville.
The film, from award-winning filmmaker David Garrigus, dramatizes the creation of one of history’s most influential documents. Following the screening, attendees will have the unique opportunity to participate in a live Q&A session with writer and director David Garrigus.
“We are honored to bring this powerful and timely film to Pickaway County,” said Elizabeth Furniss, Director of the Pickaway County Visitors Bureau. “Understanding the principles that shaped our government is vital, and this event offers a meaningful way for our community to reflect on our shared history as we look toward America’s 250th anniversary.”
