New Webinar Series: Advancing Disability Inclusion and Accessibility

Article presented by Pike County Career & Technology Center

COLUMBUS – This week, Governor Mike DeWine and OOD Director Kevin L. Miller announced OOD’s new webinar series for 2026, which aims to foster both community and workplace inclusion for Ohioans with disabilities.

“In Ohio, we believe every person has unique talents and the right to pursue their God-given potential,” said Governor DeWine. “This webinar series is another way we’re working to ensure that individuals with disabilities have the support, access, and opportunities they need to thrive—in every corner of our state.”

“At OOD, our mission is to open doors—to employment, to independence, and to community,” said Director Miller. “This series is designed to help employers and community leaders take meaningful steps toward disability inclusion, so that Ohioans with disabilities can fully participate and succeed.”
