ROSS COUNTY

State Route 159 (Bridge Street) Improvement Project — A safety improvement project that will improve interchanges, intersections, lighting, traffic control, and pedestrian facilities. Starting April 14: At least one lane will be maintained in each direction on the bridge over the Scioto River. No left turn out of River Trace Lane or Consumer Center Drive onto Bridge Street. Left turns will be allowed from Bridge Street to River Trace Lane and Shawnee Square. At least one lane will be maintained in all directions of Bridge Street.

A resurfacing project on US Route 23 between SR 207 and US 35 in Chillicothe, with work occurring daily and at least one lane maintained between SR 207 and the Chillicothe Bypass, with the project estimated to be completed in Fall 2025. At least one lane will be maintained between SR 207 and the Chillicothe Bypass. The Chillicothe Bypass will experience left lane closures and cross-over lanes. Estimated completion in the Fall of 2025

Work for a bridge replacement project on S.R. 207 between Rinkliff Lane and Stone Road. Work will occur daily for this construction. S.R. 207 will be closed for the duration of the project; traffic will be detoured via S.R. 138 to U.S. 35 to S.R. 104. Estimated completion: Spring 2025

Road and median work is being done between the US Rt 23 and 35 splits in Chillicothe. The first is located on the northeast side of the city and extends to Exit 43B.

PICKAWAY COUNTY

SR 762 between U.S. 23 and Ashville Pike will have various lane restrictions through Fall 2025 for pavement repairs. Two-way traffic will be maintained via flaggers.

A sanitary sewer project will temporarily close a section of Bulen Pierce Road for 10 days, beginning October 10th. The closure will affect the stretch between Duvall Court West and Shepherd Road as crews work to complete necessary infrastructure improvements. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes during this period. Estimated completion: October 20, 2025

JACKSON COUNTY

State Route 139 Culvert Replacement — A culvert replacement project is set to begin on S.R. 139 between Bert Harold Road and Courtney McCoy Road. S.R. 139 will be closed for the duration of the project. Traffic will be detoured via S.R. 32 to S.R. 93 to West Maple Avenue. Estimated completion: Spring 2025

Work on S.R. 327 between S.R. 32 and Wellston Industrial Park Road. Work will occur daily for this construction. S.R. 327 will be closed for the duration of the project; traffic will be detoured via Wellston Industrial Park Road to Fairgreens Road. Estimated completion: To be determined 

FAYETTE COUNTY

State Route 41 Pipe Replacement between Carr Rd. and Jupiter St. is closed through Friday, April 4 for pipe replacement. Detour: SR 729 to SR 435 to I-71 to SR 41 or reverse.

State Route 41 between Blessing Chapel Rd. and Boyer Ln. will close starting Monday, April 7 through Friday, April 11 for pipe replacement. Detour: SR 729 to SR 323 to SR 41 or reverse.

HIGHLAND COUNTY

Work for a safety project on U.S. 50 (W Main Street) inside the city of Hillsboro. Work will occur daily for this construction. Westbound U.S. 50 will remain open, Eastbound U.S. 50 will be closed. Traffic will be detoured via North High Street to Fanner Avenue to North West Street. Estimated completion: April 4, 2025

HOCKING COUNTY

A pedestrian safety improvement project on West and East Main Streets in Logan. Work will take place on the shoulder and the sidewalk next to the roadway. Flaggers will maintain traffic during daytime hours. A 15 foot lane restriction will be in place. ESTIMATED COMPLETION: September 30

SCIOTO COUNTY

State Route 823 Maintenance — A maintenance project is set to begin on April 14 on S.R. 823. At least one lane will be maintained for the duration of the project. Estimated completion: April 18

Work for a culvert replacement project on S.R. 139 between Burns Hollow Road and Smith Perry Road. Work will occur from 7 AM — 7 PM for this construction. S.R. 139 will be closed for the duration of the project; traffic will be detoured via S.R. 335 to U.S. 52. Estimated completion: Spring 2025

Work for a bridge replacement project on S.R. 335 between Lucasville Minford Road and Lyons Road. Work will occur daily for this construction. S.R. 335 will be closed for the duration of the project; traffic will be detoured via S.R. 823 to U.S. 23 to S.R. 32. Estimated completion: Fall 2025

VINTON COUNTY

SR 328 LANDSLIDE REPAIR
A landslide repair project is taking place on SR 328, between Sheets McCoy Road and Kranner Road. One lane is closed. Traffic is being maintained with temporary signals. Estimated Completion: July 1

COUNTY ROAD 25 BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
A bridge replacement project on County Road 25. The road will be closed. The detour is SR 683 to Mt. Zion Road to Wolf Hill Road. Estimated Completion: October 1

ATHENS COUNTY

U.S. 33/SR 682 ROUNDABOUT CONSTRUCTION
Traffic is being maintained by flaggers on State Route 682 at U.S. 33. Additionally, the right shoulder is closed on U.S. 33 westbound. Now through August 1, the State Route 682 ramp to U.S. 33 westbound will be closed. Estimated Completion: October 31.

STATE ROUTE 7 RESURFACING
A resurfacing project starts on April 28 on State Route 7, between the Meigs County line and Church Road. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated Completion: July 15

ADAMS COUNTY

State Route 136 Culvert Replacements — A series of culvert replacements is set to being on April 8 on S.R. 136 between Fenton Road and Tri County Road. S.R. 136 will be closed daily from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Traffic will be detoured via U.S. 62 to S.R. 32. Estimated completion: April 11

BROWN COUNTY

U.S. 50 Culvert Replacements — A series of culvert replacements is set to begin on April 14 on U.S. 50 between S.R. 251 and the Highland county line. U.S. 50 will be closed for the duration of the project. Traffic will be detoured via S.R. 134 to S.R. 131 to U.S. 68. Estimated completion: April 18 by 4 PM

FRANKLIN COUNTY

A two-year pavement reconstruction project is underway on Interstate 70 west of Columbus. The major roadway rehabilitation will replace pavement on I-70 between the Madison County Line and Hilliard Rome Road. Starting Tuesday, March 25, I-70 westbound will be reduced to two lanes. In April, eastbound traffic will be reduced to two lanes and shifted into a contraflow pattern, with both directions of I-70 traffic maintained in the existing westbound lanes. In 2026, traffic will switch to the eastbound side while crews rebuild the westbound lanes. These lane restrictions will be in place for the duration of the project, which is anticipated to be completed in Summer 2027. Reducing the number of lanes allows both directions of traffic to be maintained throughout construction. This approach allows crews to reconstruct the roadway without active traffic, enhancing safety for both drivers and workers.

GALLIA COUNTY

SR 7 SLOPE STABILIZATION
A slope stabilization project begins on April 7 on SR 7 between Neighborhood Road and Lower Garfield Road. One lane will be closed. Traffic will be maintained with temporary signals. Estimated Completion: July 1

SR 554 BRIDGE APPROACH SLAB REPAIR
A bridge approach slab repair on SR 554, between Gabriel Road and Tycoon Road. One lane will be closed. Traffic will be maintained with temporary signals. Estimated Completion: April 14
