ROSS COUNTY

S.R. 772 Bridge Replacement — A bridge replacement project on S.R. 772 between Rozelle Creek Road and Turner Road. This project is set to begin on November 3. At least one lane will be maintained using flaggers. Estimated completion: November 17

U.S. Route 23 Resurfacing — A resurfacing project on U.S. 23 between S.R. 207 and U.S. 35. NEW IMPACTS:

Now through November 2nd
- All on/off ramps at the U.S. 23 and East Main Street Interchange will be open
- At least two lanes will be maintained on U.S. 23between Eastern Avenue and The U.S. 23/U.S. 35 split.
From November 2nd — December 20
- Both southbound on/off ramps for the U.S. 23/East Main Street Interchange will be closed for 45 days.
- Southbound U.S. 23 seeking East Main Street will be detoured via U.S. 50 (Eastern Avenue) back to U.S. 23 to the northbound exit ramp for East Main Street.
- East Main Street traffic seeking U.S. 23 south will be detoured via U.S. 23 northbound to S.R. 159 exit back to U.S. 23 southbound.

Estimated completion: Summer 2026

A bridge replacement project on C.R. 222 between Blacksmith Hill Road and Concord Church Road. All lanes will be maintained. Estimated completion: Fall 2026

State Route 159 (Bridge Street) Safety Improvement Project — At least two lanes will be maintained in both directions between North Plaza Blvd and the Chillicothe Mall entrance. The new roundabout is now accessible for traffic using Stewart Road to access River Trace Lane.

PIKE COUNTY

S.R. 335 Tree Trimming — A tree trimming project on S.R. 335 between River Road and Walker Ridge Road. This project is set to begin on November 17. S.R. 335 will be closed for the duration of the project Traffic will be detoured via E Emmit Avenue to S.R. 32. Estimated completion: Winter 2025

S.R. 32 Intersection Improvement — An intersection improvement project at the S.R. 335 and S.R. 32 intersection. At least one lane will be maintained in both directions on S.R. 32. Estimated completion: Fall 2025

PICKAWAY COUNTY

State Route 56 between Hitler Rd. and Old Tarlton Pike will close starting Monday, November 10 for two weeks for culvert replacement. Detour: U.S. 23 to SR 361 to SR 159 to SR 56 or reverse.

Pickaway County Engineer Department has CLOSED Yankeetown Pike between Alkire Road and Stonerock Road until November 21, 2025 for a bridge replacement.

FAYETE COUNTY

HIGHLAND COUNTY

U.S. 62 Bridge Rehabilitation — A bridge rehabilitation project on U.S. 62 between Diamond Drive and Hobart Drive. This is set to begin on November 3. At least one lane will be maintained for the duration of the project. Estimated completion: Winter 2025

JACKSON COUNTY

S.R. 279 Culvert Replacement — A culvert replacement project on S.R. 279 between Four Mile Road and Slab Hill Road. Estimated completion: Fall 2025

FAIRFIELD COUNTY

U.S. 33 and Pickerington Road Interchange – The project involves the construction of a new interchange facility at the intersection of U.S. Route 33 and Pickerington Road. The interchange project will involve the replacement of the at-grade intersections of Pickerington Road and U.S. 33 as well as Pickerington Road and the railroad crossing. Continued Impacts: All lanes are currently maintained throughout the project. All work is weather dependent and dates are subject to change.

Resurfacing and related work on SR 159 in Fairfield County between US 22 and the Pickaway County line. Includes preventive maintenance on bridges within the project limits. Continued impacts: Two-way traffic is maintained with a flagging operation for resurfacing.

HOCKING COUNTY

City of Nelsonville Resurfacing
A resurfacing/concrete repair project is taking place at the following locations in the City of Nelsonville: Old U.S Highway 33/E Canal Street/W Canal Street/W Washington Street, Burr Oak Blvd., and Happy Hollow Road. Lane closures will be in place where work is occurring. Traffic could be detoured onto side streets. Estimated Completion: October 31

SR 56 Bridge Replacement
A bridge replacement project is taking place on SR 56, between Conrad Road and Blue Creek Road. Traffic is being maintained by temporary signals.
Estimated Completion: November 1

SR 180 Bridge Replacement
A bridge replacement project is taking place on SR 180, between Karshner Road and Deffenbaugh Road. Traffic is being maintained by temporary signals.
Estimated Completion: November 1

SCIOTO COUNTY

There are no current impacts to traffic.

VINTON COUNTY

A resurfacing project is taking place on SR 93, between the Jackson County line and McArthur. Traffic is being maintained by flaggers. Estimated Completion: November 1

ATHENS COUNTY

SR 682 Sewer Line Project
The Village of Chauncey is starting a sewer line project on SR 682, between 3rd Street and 4th Street. One lane will be closed. Traffic will be maintained with temporary signals. Estimated Completion: November 10

U.S. 33/SR 682 ROUNDABOUT CONSTRUCTION
Traffic is being maintained by flaggers on SR 682 at U.S. 33. Additionally, the right shoulder is closed on US 33 westbound. The off ramp from US 33 west to SR 682 is also closed. Traffic will access SR 682 at the non-interchange exit for Bailey’s Trail System (Chauncey exit) then turn right onto North Plains Road. Estimated Completion: November 28

ADAMS COUNTY

S.R. 781 Slide Repair — A slide repair project on S.R. 781 between Mineral Springs Road and Jones Road. This project will begin on October 27. S.R. 781 will be closed from 7 AM — 3:30 PM for the duration of the project. Traffic will be detoured via S.R. 348 to S.R. 125 to S.R. 41. Estimated completion: October 31

SR 218 Culvert Repair
A culvert repair project on SR 218 between Ingalls Road and Raccoon Road. One lane will be closed. Traffic will be maintained with temporary signals. Estimated Completion: October 31

COUNTY ROAD 40 BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
A bridge replacement project on County Road 40 (Patriot Road), between Burnette Road and Hutch Street. The road will be closed. ODOT’s detour is Patriot Road to Hannan Trace Road to German Hollow Road to Ramblewood Drive to Burnette Road. Estimated Completion: November 14
