(Chillicothe) – The Chillicothe Police Department has announced that Officer Jon Campbell has been awarded the Medal of Merit in recognition of his actions and outstanding service to the community.
On October 12, 2025, Officer Campbell responded to a call involving a choking infant. Through his calm demeanor and life-saving measures, Officer Campbell successfully cleared the infant’s airway.
His decisive actions and unwavering commitment to preserving life exemplify the highest standards of professionalism, courage, and service upheld by the Chillicothe Police Department.
