Ohio Cattlemen’s Association Stockmanship Judging Contest

Entry Registration is being accepted for the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association Stockmanship Judging Contest to be held March 22nd. It will be held in conjunction with the Ohio Beef Expo at the Ohio Expo Center, located at 717 East 17th Avenue in Columbus.

The Contest is open to all 8-21 year olds (as of 1/1/22).

The OCA BEST program’s Stockmanship Division provides a pathway for youth to participate in the BEST program without showing an animal. It expands BEST participants’ knowledge of cattle and provides youth with an opportunity to showcase their abilities and talents outside of the show ring. The Stockmanship division is comprised of beef industry-focused events and competitions that are in conjunction with BEST shows.

Early registration deadline is Monday, March 7th at $10 per participant. Late registration is March 8-18 at $15 per participant.
